From the Learners Themselves

ST

Siriporn T.

Bangkok · Foundations Course

"I had tried learning from a couple of video platforms before and always got stuck about halfway through. The difference here was the feedback on my exercises — when I made a structural mistake, the instructor explained why it was a problem, not just that it was wrong. That actually changed how I thought about the material."

Nattakorn K.

Chiang Mai · Applied Model Building

"The code review session at the second milestone was unexpectedly useful. I had written code that ran but would have been a nightmare to maintain. The reviewer pointed out three specific things and explained what would happen if I scaled the dataset. That kind of feedback is hard to get anywhere else. The pace in the first two weeks felt slow to me personally, but I understand why it was structured that way."

Warisa P.

Bangkok · Capstone Track

"The mentor sessions were the main reason I chose the Capstone Track over trying to self-study advanced topics. My mentor is a working engineer, and our sessions felt like working through a problem together rather than being lectured. The capstone project took longer than I expected — about fourteen weeks — but the end result was something I was actually confident presenting."

Arthit C.

Pattaya · Foundations Course

"I work full time in logistics and was worried the schedule would be too rigid. It was not. I studied in two-to-three hour blocks on weekends and one or two evenings a week, which worked well. The study group was a nice addition — it helped to see that other learners had the same questions I did."

Rujira L.

Bangkok · Applied Model Building

"The portfolio project requirement was the part I was most uncertain about going in, but it ended up being the most useful. Putting together something I could actually show changed how I thought about what I had learned. Having the instructor review it before I called it finished made a real difference to the final quality."

Khon Kaen · Capstone Track

"I had done both the Foundations and Applied courses here, so I already knew how the material was structured. The Capstone Track is different in character — it is less about learning new concepts and more about applying everything together on a real problem with someone experienced watching over your shoulder. That is a good description of what it felt like."

Learner Journeys in More Detail

Challenge

Moving from Excel to code

A data analyst at a Bangkok logistics company had been doing most of her work in spreadsheets and wanted to work with larger datasets using code. She had no prior programming background and was unsure where to begin.

Approach

Foundations course, then Applied

She enrolled in the Foundations course and worked through it over seven weeks. The study group helped her stay on track during a busy period at work. After completing Foundations, she moved directly into Applied Model Building.

Outcome

Working model on internal data

By the end of the Applied course, she had produced a working model trained on her company's delivery data. The project took about eleven weeks total from first enrollment. She described the code review feedback as "the part that actually stuck."

"I did not think I could learn to write code in my mid-thirties while working full time. I was wrong about that." — Siriporn T., Bangkok
Challenge

Self-taught gaps in ML knowledge

A junior software developer in Chiang Mai had learned ML concepts from YouTube and free courses but felt his understanding had holes in it — he could follow examples but could not explain why certain choices were made.

Approach

Applied Model Building

He started directly in Applied Model Building (with agreement from the Logicraft team that his background was sufficient). The code review sessions were where he found the most value — they exposed the gaps he had suspected were there.

Outcome

Portfolio project, clearer foundations

He completed the course in nine weeks. His portfolio project was a classification model on a Thai e-commerce dataset. He described the course as "filling in the gaps between things I thought I knew and things I actually understood."

"The code review at milestone two was uncomfortable in a good way. I had gotten away with a lot of bad habits." — Nattakorn K., Chiang Mai
Challenge

Deepening skills without a team

A product manager at a Bangkok startup wanted to develop a strong working knowledge of AI systems to contribute more substantively to technical decisions at work. She had completed an online course before but wanted structured depth, not more surface coverage.

Approach

Capstone & Mentorship Track

She enrolled in the Capstone Track directly. Her mentor helped her define a capstone project relevant to her professional context — a simple recommendation system based on user behaviour patterns. Sessions were scheduled fortnightly with async communication in between.

Outcome

Completed capstone, applied in role

The project ran fourteen weeks. She presented the finished work to her mentor and received a written assessment. She described the main change in her work life as being able to "ask better questions in engineering meetings," which she had not anticipated as the main benefit going in.

"Having a mentor who has built real systems changes the nature of the conversation entirely. It is not a tutorial, it is a discussion." — Warisa P., Bangkok
